    Default HD's on Marvel SATA

I tried to add two more WD hd's' using the Marvel SATA since the Intel is full. I can see the drives if I switch to Intel but they do not show when connected on the Marvel SATA. Marvel drivers installed. Any ideas? Thanks.

Never had that problem. Is the Marvel SATA set to AHCI in bios? It should default to AHCI but you never know.....

don't show where? in bios or windows?

looked in disk management and initialised them or assigned new drive letter to them? they should show up in windows then

enabling hot swap for each sata port in the bios might get them to be recognised aswell

They do not show in BIOS, or DISK Mng. Tech support had me install BIOS F9, but that did not solve the issue. Looks like an RMA....

Try setting the Marvel SATA for IDE in the bios, save & reboot, and see if they show up.

IDE is not an option; Disabled and ACHI only.

No RAID option either? Somethings not right.

All I can think of is pull the battery for a while and try again. But it's looking like an RMA. Almost sounds like the Marvell firmware is messed up.
