So I just increase vcore with this settings and nothing else? How much? And say we found stability 1-2 ticks above. Will that be enough for higher frequencies? 3.6-3.7-3.8 etc.

Am I a fortune teller? Try and see.

Depends on your definition for stability they may be good for 3.6GHz.
I've already mentioned specs and I think I've posted a link to the documentation, It is now you that make the rules and decide what the limits are.

OK, 439FSB is stable (3 loop LinX + 3 hours of gaming) at 1.3875 vcore and 444 is not. I received WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR 0x124 BSOD. At this rate 3.8 will need something like 1.6v... :|

    Now load vcore is 1.312-1.328.

Temps and GFlops with LinX OK?
First try with 2-3 clicks higher vcore.
VTT is 1.26v still? RAM settings?

124 usually bus/MCH settings so time to try and fine tune CPU/MCH refs.
Perhaps it's clock skews time too.
    Simple clock skew tuning:
MCH Skew 0, CPU Skew 50, 100, 150, ... as long as getting better
    worse or no change
    CPU Skew 0, MCH Skew 50, 100, 150...

Clock skews cannot be done with EasyTune so it's a reboot for each change.

You are getting greedy, lets get 3.55 perfectly stable then see about 3.8.

Temps are the same. I tested with other programs on.
No VTT is 1.20. RAMs are tRD 9 with 2.1v DRAM.

Back to the ref nightmare again? :( I'll try some VTT for a change and since you asked if it was 1.26.

Greedy? Seriously? :D I'm sure you'll want 3.6 after 3.55, and then 3.65 and then 3.7 and then 3.75 and finally and only then 3.8. :) And I haven't even decided if I should go for 4GHz. :)

I've some seen vcore talks for 124 but OK.

This is probably the longest stability/OC thread in twea-- world's history! :D Not that this is your fault, not entirely at least. :))

Edit: I tried raising VTT up to 1.34 alone, BSOD on LinX each time.
Then after setting it back to 1.20, I raised vcore to 1.4v. Still Firefox crashes during LinX. Now vcore on load is 1.312-1.328 BUT on idle it is 1.36. I saw ProfJim saying "bsod 0x124 is usually CPU Vcore voltage too low with your LGA775" on an old thread. What to do now? I can try one more vcore to hope it doesn't pass 1.36 on idle but if it does I think I should stop? It can still damage my CPU even when temp is low on idle, right? Tough not sure what will happen when I enable power saving options.

Gotta keep trying, at least +1/-1 on each.

could be one or the other or combination of both, with 1.24v VTT.
You could try +1 on MCH core too. This BTW should be getting VERY hot by now, do you have any side fans or does the CPU cooler create enough airflow there?

You got a lot of posts to post before you get there, I'm sure profJim has a link to one that is at least double the length.

Give the skews a shot, a quick 100/0 CPU/MCH then if no good 100/0 CPU/MCH.

Max temp is still ~68c on LinX. No worries. And yes, I do have a giant side fan, but the cooler does the hard work. :) It was only higher a few degrees before I closed the side panel yesterday. (My case is CM HAF 932 fyi.)

Temps will never be an issue, unless it needs 1.6v or something. Right now raising vcore almost increases no temp on the CPU at all. I'm just not sure if voltages can still damage chip with low temps, a part of me says so.

    Check these (with 450FSB):

In addition to the last picture, increasing DRAM to 2.2v didn't help either. So it's 99.99% not RAMs. I actually had a restart loop after I set it to 2.2v.

So IMO it either needs even more vcore, or refs/skews needs adjusting.

Note that I am stable at 439 FSB at 1.38750v with 1.20vtt 1.26mch core 0.785 cpu ref and 2.1v dram. (can maybe stay stable with 1 lower vcore)

Will do. My options are quickly draining at this point.

I wonder if PSU is the problem. But I guess it shouldn't cause problems with a mere 5 mhz FSB change.

I was talking about the MCH, the bigger bronze heat sink near the CPU, they get very hot, sometimes too hot to touch, but CPU heat sink with top fan may help cooling it better than one with side fan.

Some RAM don't like high voltage, mine are rated 2.1v but they are more stable at 2.0v

And MCH Core may be needed too.
Temps are 75 not 68 better get rid of the average column, at least while stressing.
For my new CPU I had to add 0.04v for 100MHz(CPU) and I am not absolutely sure it is stable

75 is only one core :) rest are 71-72 and that's 10 loop, I wasn't talking about average temp nor was I talking about core temps (which are still pretty close to 68c), I was referring to 1 loop non-core CPU temp when I was saying 68c. And that's truth. This is still very good for this voltage. And this is linX. On games it is lower than 45c. Usually 40c. Even when encoding etc. it probably won't exceed 60c.

As you see I raised MCH Core up to 1.30v and it didn't help.

Obviously I can't know that since there's no sensor there, but the MB temp seems fine (37 max on LinX) so I guess it should also be fine.

I'm gonna try skews now. First to 100ps CPU then MCH, right? And if that doesn't work?
Tough I have some hopes. While googling seen some people who managed to maintain stability thanks to those. Let's see what will they do for me.
