Default Z68XP-UD3R RAID not seeing disk despite disk ID and channel being same as when array created

Z68XP-UD3R RAID not seeing disk despite disk ID and channel being same as when array created-large_image-jpg

RAID can see the disk during both boot and once in OS. Despite the disk being fine and the disk ID and channel matching what it expects refuses to see it as part of RAID.

In first shot the expected disk has ID of W2403WZC, this is the disk identified during boot and the disk is shown as normal.

    Any solutions?

To review, you had a RAID 0 array of those two 1.8TB HDDs, and it was functioning fine? How long did this RAID 0 volume exist?

What version of IRST are you using?

Your OS drive must be on the Marvell SATA controller, correct?

Suddenly your RAID 0 array failed for some reason, but the second 1.8TB HDD is seen by the IRST RAID utility in Windows.

What does Windows Explorer show for the second 1.8TB HDD? Or Disk Management?

It seems as if the second HDD had its RAID metadata corrupted or removed, so it cannot be part of the original RAID volume.

The channels (ports) the RAID disks were on does not matter, they could be moved to other Intel ports and it would make no difference.

You could try a new SATA data cable on the second HDD, but you may have lost that RAID volume for some reason.
