Default Installing Operating System while using the Video Intergrated Port

I didn't think about it while I was actually doing it but I installed my Windows 10 64bit operation system while I was connected to the integrated port instead of the dedicated port. This happened by accident when I was Secure Erasing my samsung ssd. You can only read what the secure erase program is saying while plugged into the integrated side of the motherboard. I have a Gigabyte Z77X-Ud4th motherboard. I forgot to switch back over to the dedicated side of the motherboard before installing the OS. My question is will installing your OS in the integrated side any different than installing it in the dedicated side? Shouldn't I have used the dedicated video port?
Thank you for any help in this matter.
