Default Gigabyte G1 X58 board need to update for Xeon X5675

Hi, I have a Gigabyte G1 Assassin, and to give it a longer life, I am upgrading it from the current Intel chip I have, i7 920, to the Xeon X5675, and I wanted to know how I can add support for it on the current F5D bios that I have. Is it possible, can a Tweaktown guru, modify a bios for me to have the support.
Thanks in advance for your help and guidance.

As your board is a bit old,try to google...I found X56xx with latest BIOS F5d....no problem.

    Hi there :)

I don't have a x5675 to test but I know the Assasin works fine with X5675, X5680 and X5690 with bios F5D so you should be just fine

Edit: also this site confirms it :)
