I've fixed a few voltages per your screen shots and am letting the other voltages "float" against them on AUTO. I can run memtest for 17m and prime for 5m with these fixed voltages. Will do 1-2 hour memtest run and overnight prime tonight, then publish full BIOS settings for a final time with 3.75GHz/16GB RAM.

I believe voltage ranges are FAR more tolerant than most think. Kind of like how the 55mph speed limit is set or that the Motrin bottle says only 3x12mg daily.

When I boot stock 3GHz profile I notice that on AUTO my RAM is being run at something like 1.79 or 1.75 volts. I believe manuf. MUST work these kinds of ranges into their chips or they’d get too many returns.

Also when I boot 3GHz stock profile…sometimes it shows 2GHz during POST! What the heck could be causing this??

I created my stock profile after a CMOS clear by first “update with optimum values”, 2nd save it under “stock profile” and reboot. After clean reboot I finish my ‘baseline’ by setting cpu fan alerts, suspend behaviour, suppress of logo, then save and reboot a final time. All other profiles are based upon this baseline for the most part.

Due to my closed loop cpu cooler being wired to my cpu fan header I have also had to disable the BIOS setting for smart fan control so the pump will A) always run at maximum and B) prevent computer startup if pump not on

This is interesting, notice from another tweaktown post somebody using F4H rather than F4C (assuming not a typo) for the EP45T-DS3R.

Is this a valid BIOS for this mobo (unofficially)?

I haven't been able to find an F4H bios on the web for your EP45T-DS3R.

You can try sending a PM to the member who listed the F4H mod bios in his forum signature to find out where he got it.
