Default No more block diagrams in Gigabyte motherboard manuals?

One thing that I used to always love about Gigabyte was the block diagrams they included in their manuals:These were extremely useful for getting a quick understanding of a boards configuration.Have they dropped these for good? If so, that's a real shame.

The motherboard user manual still includes the motherboard layout diagram, but it isn't in the Installation Guidebook.

Download the user manual that is near the bottom of the Manual downloads page.

I don't know what an "installation guidebook" is. I'm taking about the full manuals, eg:GIGABYTE - Motherboard - Socket 1151 - GA-Z170X-Gaming 5 (rev. 1.0) block diagram, normally located around the beginning of the manual near the board layout page, is absent.EDIT: this site is messing up my links. I was trying to link to the manual you see when you go: Motherboard page -> Support and Downloads -> manualEDIT2: What's wrong with this site? It's destroying post formatting. It can't handle new paragraphs etc.

    Test paragraph.

Send me a PM that includes: device (PC or mobile), browser name and version, anti-virus name and version, and the operating system.

I don't know why the manual you linked to did not include the block diagram.

I checked the ga-x99m gaming5 user manual and it has the block diagram on the page after the motherboard layout page. The date of this manual was March 17, 2016 in the pdf document properties.

You're right, that's interesting. However, I've looked through the manuals of many boards including:

    GA-Z170N-WIFI
    GA-Z170M-D3H
    G1.Sniper M7
    GA-Z170X-UD5
    GA-Z170X-Gaming G1
    GA-H170-Gaming 3
    GA-Z170X-Ultra Gaming

And none of them have block diagrams. I hope this isn't going to be an ongoing trend.

Regarding the formatting thing, I may have fixed that on my end. If the issue resumes, I'll send you that PM.

Yes, I also have found the block diagram missing on those boards.
In one manual they mistakenly included the board layout picture twice - lol.
It's one of the things in the Manual I use the most, mainly as a quick reference to the features of the board.
I hope Gigabyte sees this Thread and reverses their silly decision.

The most effective way to get Gigabyte's attention is to post your request on the Gigabyte social media forums where you describe how and why the block diagrams are useful.
