    Motherboard monitor can make crashes happen. Its done it to me 90% of the time with 3d marks 01&03 and red faction(sometimes). Usually just to desktop though. Do u get a bluescreen of death before the reboot? I tried reinstalling everything as well.

    I tested this lots and since turning it off before running an affected program, all is well, not 1 crash since.

    If that dosent solve your issue, i would also look at your NIC as a culprit, blow NIC's can do wierd stuff like that.

    Oh, I thought so, but that seems to be working fine, I don't have connection problems.

    Oh, and I know I said this before, or I hope. but I added a 256mb chip of RAM, the same type as my first 256, and I think the problem started happening around then. Should I remove the chip I added see what happens? Or just run a memtest?

    I would just run a memtest with both sticks installed. If u get an error, take out one and try with just one in and see what happens
