Thread: Any Ideas ?

    I would be over the moon if any may have the answers to this problem.

    My system is as follows asus a7v8x motherboard,1g ddr 2700
    leadtek ti 4600 ,amd xp 2400,
    Yesterday I decide to update my fan on the machine so I put a new fan on after cleaning cpu and adding the paste re housed new fan.

    ~Plugged in all relevant cable and hit the power button.
    Nothing ? The board shows the green led the fan spins happily and the fans on the graphics card spin too and no agp error light I cannot understand why my display is not showing.

    Please help Im pulling what hair I left out cheers.

    a short in the new fan will cause that to happen. try the old fan.

    You could of crushed the cpu core, that'll mean some $'s will have to be forked up for a new one
