Nope... and apparently it isn't the motherboard either. I got a new Soltek SL-75FRN-L and it's doing the same thing!

So I am going to probably go for the cpu now. That is the only other thing that I haven't been able to test. I'm just going to have to buy a new one and make sure I can return it.

    What do you think?

Hm, maybe your PSU is gone south, I dont see how the power strip getting turned off will fry your cpu or mobo

I was wondering if it might be my PSU, but I kind of ruled it out. It seems to be powering up - fans all work, CPU cooler and case fans all power up just fine...

    Any thoughts?

    thanks

You might try checking your ram too. You also said that you tested another monitor. Did you try that one on another system? Just a thought.

I don't see any reference to memory. Have u tested it or ruled it out. Sounds like the psu though.

edit: I guess I took too long to finnish this post, the one above it was not there when I started. I got interupted mid-post.

I actually haven't tried a different monitor. I threw my video card into another computer, but didn't lug another monitor in. I'll try that today.

I pretty much ruled out the ram situation because even if there isn't any ram present I should get some diagnostic beeps at the least, right?:hammer:
