    okay, one 512mb stick will be okay, but if ya go (2) 256mb youll get better performance, but youll have to stick with that amount, or buy 2 new sticks when you upgrade RAM. And if ya get 1 512mb stick for now, make sure when you buy the secnd one its by the same manufacturer and speed etc.

    If I dual channeled (2) 256 Mb chips how much performance and what type of performance boosts would I be getting?

    Well, theres about a 5-10% performance gain, as you get double the bandwith between the RAM and everything it "talks" too, Mainly youll get a boost in CPU/RAM intensive things.

    That HSF is exactly the same (except for the clip) as Evercool's CUD-725 which is independantly rated at 0.59 c/w.

    Well, this screeny leads me to belive that what Kinginw says is right ;)

    Mind the temps high, but thats due to a 1.8 core voltage @ a 200mhz FSB
