ok, once again i have another start up problem..this all started yesterday. i left my comp on for about 5 or 6 hours and came back to it frozen. well i restarted, and as soon as it got to windows it froze again. this happend for about 4 times then finally it worked. well then today, when i turned it on. and windows error came up said that a windows32 file was missing..so i reset it, and it went to windows loading screen and it froze another 4 or 5 times. then after that, i got the blue screen of death....this thing is really pissing me off..it takes me for ever to start up..any suggestions other than reformatting..:steam: :steam: :grr: :grr:

Give those diagnostics ago but the temps are awfully high if they're true which could also be the prob so take the side off the case while runnin' it and see if the temps drop and also check that the HSF is still properly mounted.

ok, well i have narrowed it down to the hard drive, i unplugged the ide cable from it and it didnt lock up one time. i did a memory test and it passed the 11 tests with no errors..so il have to do a google and find a diagnostic test....then well see what the problem really is...

ok wtf!!! i did a memory test=passed all test and i did a hard drive diagnostic=no errors..but on a couple of the times i restarted this message came up:

Windows could not start because the following file was missing or corrupt

    <windows root>\system32\ntoskrnl.exe

and then it would lock up again and reboot and the hole god damn cycle would start again..and i got 2 blue screens this time...it said to reinstall or repair the file..so what do i do now...ohh and i found the file in my windows folder and its there so i dont know if somebody could send me there or if you can even do taht..just an idea.
