    Default New System POST Codes

I just finished assembling a new computer from scratch using all new parts. When booted, I got 12 POST Codes. Not knowing how to address the problems, I proceeded to load XP PRO and OFFICE XP PRO on the new system. So far I can't see any ill effects of these POST Codes. Everything works fine.
    My questions are:
Will running it with any of these codes hurt the system in any way?
Is it complicated to fix the problems? I hate when things aren't right.

    Codes: 3f, 49, 52, 53, 5d, 5f, 65, 67, 75, 85, 8b, 96.

    System: Chaintech 7NJL6, Athlon XP2700, 512K DDR400, XFX GeFORCE FX5200 (128MB). WD 200GB Caviar SE Hard Drive.

I'm an amature builder and I've built my own computers for the past few years but have never ran into any Post Code problems (till now).
    Please Help
    Thank You in Advance

Check your mainboard manual for an explaination of the codes.

Thanks for the reply. I just wish it were that easy. The MB Manual doesn't have a POST Error Code list and Chaintech's website is even less helpful. If I could be pointed in the right direction to do what needs done it would be helpful.

My expertise on chipsets and altering settings is very limited compared to most all of the members of this board but I can follow instructions when given.

Usually during bootup the display will show several codes, this is normal, well it is with my Epox mainboards anyway, and the only time you should be worried about the code is when it fails to boot as the code will point to what the problem is but if Chaintech can't supply an error code list in their manuals then that's a very good reason for me to stay clear of their product.

Thank you again. Even with the display of the codes, everything appears to be working great. I will be contacting Chaintech support to get their opinion.
I don't mind running into computer problems. It gives me a chance to learn more.
    Thank You
