Default Computer/OS freezes afte exiting games, Less then 1 FPS in 3D mark CPU test.

My computer is about a month old and every time I close down World Of Warcraft or even other games it will seem to freeze windows and the computer will need restarting and im also somethimes getting when I shut down the computer and restart that it has recovered from a serious error (ill need to wait until it happens again before i can read that the serious error is about).

Update: I was running 3D Mark 06 and for two of the tests it was giving me a framrate of about 0-1 and in the summary it said they were the CPU tests, I also noticed on my keyboard LCD prefromace monitor that the CPU was operating at 100% this is really bothering me since I spent 3 big ones on the system and I was hoping for some solutions, alough games do seem to run quite smoothy they still are slightly sub-par compared to what I expected.

    See specs below - v

you mentioned a lcd on your keyboard - this maybe the slowdown, if it is monitering your system. i know that some monitoring apps can be major resource hogs.
dont expect high framerates in the cpu tests in 3dmark06
but as for your main problem, i have no idea.
