Thread: DDR2 not true?

  1. #1

    Default DDR2 not true?

My name says it all: I am trying to figure out a new laptop without wasting those hard earned bucks. My current laptop has just confused me. After checking with the Crucial Sytems scanner for my RAM, it tells me that my computer does not support Dual Channel memory....I have one GB of DDR2 in two sticks..Can someone please help me understand what the limiting factors are? I know this is long, but I am researching a new laptop and do not want to waste the money for faster RAM if it is not supported.

    Thanks for any help.
