    Default computer crashing

    hi,my computer keeps crashing and i dont know why,it can be when i boot up,or when i`ve used it for a while,sometimes it doesnt do it at all,also i norton anti virus,and it wont let me onto the live update site,and i cant get onto the windows website,yet can access the internet normally.I`ve checked the firewall,and nothing seem out of place.Am running windows xp,any help please.

    Could be a virus ... a rather nasty one comes to mind: Antivirus 2008 or a varient. If you can, download and install SuperAntiSpyware SuperAntiSpyware Free Edition - Free software downloads and reviews - CNET Download.com and/or Malwarebytes Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware 1.34 - Perform a quick scan or a full system scan on your computer to detect and quarantine/remove the malware found on your PC - Softpedia . If you can get them installed you will probably do best to scan the first time in safemode (F8 when booting). Good luck.

    check windows event viewer, what errors do you get? Start from there... I have simillar problems too.
