Question POST Failing with Mushkin Radioactive 1600Mhz 6GB and Intel Smackover DX58SO

As far as issues go, I think this is quite a simple one. I just don't know how to nail it.

    I have a triple kit Mushkin Radioactive 6GB 1600Mhz on a Intel Smackover Dx58SO

Performance wise everything is peachy, however when I boot my PC in the morning it won't post initially.
I then enter the BIOS leave all the settings unchanged, F10 and then it works.

I was wondering if anyone could recommend an adjustment to my BIOS settings (listed below) that would avoid this posting failure.

Thanks for any light you can shed on the matter

Seemslike a cold boot issue, could try a little more qpi/vtt voltage or one click more dram voltage and see if it improves,be sure to use latest mb BIOS too

Hi, Thanks for the advise wazza300

I tried the following configuration did the top red bolded option first for a few days and was going well but suddenly my PC didn't dig that config. (only changes at the suddenly point was the installation of Dirt 2 and Dirt 3 and Crysis 2. love month-end)

So now trying the bottom red bolded option as well.

I see some people on other forums actually turn the DIMM memory training setting off all together.

Is that possibly a good idea based on my cold boot issue?

I don't know with that motherboard, tried one click more qpi/vtt voltage? And set dram voltage back to 1.66v?

You should test each stick one by one with your default initial settings, on a cold boot, just to be sure it's not one single stick causing the issue.

At night before you go to sleep remove two sticks, that way in the morning you can test booting with only a single stick. Boot at night with that one stick all the way to windows, that way the BIOS knows it's a single stick and is ready for the cold boot test in the morning. Do these each morning for three days until you have tested each stick one at a time on a cold boot each morning (Or any down time 6-8 hours, doesn't have to be cold/morning)

I'd do that before any other testing

Ok this is the current setup I have at the moment (see below) everything seems to be playing nicely with each other.

Thank you for your response Lsdmeasap but currently the removing one stick of memory everyday isn't a feasible option.
My cooling system basically covers the RAM as well so in order to Remove a single stick the whole cooling unit would need to be taken out, and that's a days job on it's own.
However I do appreciate your input. Thank you.

Thanks also to wazza300, you guys have saved me from losing sleep at night over this irritating issue. (probably also saved the lifespan of my RAM)

Will update if settings don't take but they seem good at the moment.
