    Hi all,

Always I insert a firewire card in my computer (motherboard GA-7VTXE) with Windows XP Professional I got in troubles. I have already tested three different ones and I get one or both of these problems. For both problems I have tried all the PCI slots and solutions proposed by XP.
    1) Windows XP detect the hardware IEEE 1394 and tries to install the OHCI compliant driver but it says something like "the driver was nīt installed successfully, (error code = 1)"
    2) In addition after inserting the card the PC is rebooted when I shutdown it and I have to extract the card to shutdown it properly.

    IEEE 1394 cards
    Pinnacle: error 1 and 2
    BEst Buy: error 1
    Hercules/Guillemot: error 1 and 2

Anybody have the same problem? Do you know how to solve it?
DO you know a compatible card that works for sure?

    Thanks a lot
