searching Google for "hangs verifying dmi pool data" comes up with several good possibilities.

Good luck, I'm off to work now.

dmi pool data is to do with auto-detection of PCI and system peripherals

get into the bios and reset to factory defaults, re-detect the hard-drives, and then try booting off a floppy/hard-disk or cd-rom

if it still fails, remove all devices/drives from the PC and leave only the video card/ram/cpu/power supply hooked up to the motherboard and see if it manages to complete DMI by sayin verifying DMI pool....DONE

if it does then one-by-one reconnect devices/drives back to the system in-case it is a problem component.

Just a guess, but make sure that the mother board isint touching the case. sometimes that will interfere with the electronic signal in the mother board:2cents:

Have you tried to wait - all the time needed - to see if you get some other error messages or even the normal start up ?
