I paid $60 for an MS keyboard that lasted about 6 months. Switched to a Logitech, and have been using that for over a year now. Also, I had an Intellimouse explorer which crapped out in a year. Microsoft peripherals SUCK!!

All my MS products have lasted and performed well. You didn't yank on the cord hard just before it stopped working did ya? (Launch it off your desk?)
