I'm wondering about the coverage, I want to get Xbox Live but the HDTV that I play on is in the basement, the distance is nothing but will there be any trouble with it going thru the floor? i'd image thered be no problem with the signal radiating up but what about down?

    good question

and the answer is yep they AP's are not designed to go from floor to floor.

Solution - shift the arial so it is horzontal, the it will be transmitting up & down, note it won't transmitte very well horizontally now
