    I have that on my new mainboard and was wondering if and how I can do 1000mbps with it.

    yes, gigabit ethernet is 1000mbps ethernet. It should automatically sense if you can use the full speed. It's not going to do that much good if everything else you use is only 100mbps though.

    My other 2 systems don't have it:( . I thought maybe I could get faster cable internet with it though.:lips:
