    Question What To Look For In a Hardware Firewall?

    I'm looking at purchasing a new hardware firewall. I'm just wondering if you guys know of any "What to look for in a firewall? sites.

    You can just get a switch for a network setup as many have a firewall built in. I can't say what to look for, but when I test my system through GRC it comes up as completely stealth.

    You can usually get away with NAT (Network Address Translation) and port forwarding if you need it.

    If you want to get a bit more indepth, stateful packet inspection (SPI) as well as a couple other things will work a treat. But NAT will usually cover it.

    Just look at all the consumer-level routers on the market. They will all suffice.
