    Default Access denied on xp network

    Hi, I have a probleem to of my pc's that I can't access at all.You can see them on the network they can access anther computers but you can't access them from the other computers then you getting the message can't access resources.I already tried to reinstalled the network wizard, change the ip address with no luck! Can anyone please help or ideas, thanks alot!

    have you had a look at your User Settings? as a general rule, i enable the Guest account, and make sure it can be accessed from the network:
    Administrative Tools >> Local Security Policy >> User Rights Assignment
    "access this computer from the network" - guest needs to be in here.
    that should just about do it...if everything else is setup properly.

    The two pc's have xp home and there is no local security policy. I have uninstalled the network card and reinstalled and setup the nework and ip address with no luck.
