Default Problems with Folder & File sharing...

Hello all... and all the best for the season.

I have Hello all....and all the best for the season.

I have a few systems networked at home using the same workgroup. Each PC has it's own name & description; and this was all working well a few at least 4wks ago.

All shares can be seen by the respective PC's; however when trying access the respective folder; I get a "????system is not accessible", please contact administrator of this server re:permissions.

All PC's have full admin rights; and certain ones can acces see the other folders but as soon as one is selected the above message appears.

I'm not sure what to try next. I'm sure it's something minor.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    thanks...

Did you in any way change anything on any of these computers around the time they stopped working?

Are you running software firewalls on them?

Have you been into services.msc and changed the startup options for any services?
