    Default weird prob with router

    g'day fellas,

a few days a go my D-Link DI-704P router died so I went straight out and bought another one exactly the same. Strange prob is that I have 3 pc's hooked up to it and sometimes when I turn my pc on (the main pc) the lights that indicate the internet connection shortly after shop flashing and I have to pull out the routers power cord and re-insert it re regain the connection. I had the same prob a while back with my original router but it went away. The other 2 pc's can be online for hours with no problem...it's only when I turn mine on that we get this prob.

    cheers

LOL... glad you got things working properly. I'm not much into networking so am little help, but I've been running a Netgear router/switch for a few years for my home's 4 computers and have never had any trouble at all.
