    Default Network Utilization

I have a 7.5 gig file i am trying to copy from computer A to computer B through a wifi signal in my house.

I am getting about 500 KB/s but on my network utilization info in Vista's task manager it tells me i'm only using just under 50% of my possible capacity.

How can i bump this up to 100% or find out why it's being locked at under 50%?

Thats normal, windows task manager never gives a very good reading on speeds across a network. If you are wanting to see how much of the network is really being used use the performance monitor in the administrative tools and add in the bytes total/sec counter and watch that as you copy over the file.
    BRING IT ON!!!!

also with a wifi connection - lot more overhead data is required, a fact not advetrised by wifi manufacturers, usually with a 10 meg connection you'll lose about 1/2 of it in overhead data
