ok, i want to share my connection with my laptop over the network.

Both pc's have been configured and can see eachother/exchange files/print to eachothers printers. BUT win XP wont let me share its internet connection.

when i click on "share conection" then on "ok," it comes up with an error message " Can not enable share access. Error 1061: The service can not accept control messages at this time."

and when i use the wizard it also comesup with "an error has occured" but with no number or description.

    any ideas?

Add/Remove Programs/Windows setup and uninstall ICS and then reinstall it. ;)
