This is a rather questionable question.
I can't think of any good reason to tell you - it seems MSN doesn't want her company for now.

Perhaps it is only for a specified period? Check thier policies on such things and see.

na.. she was in a room and msn's chat room sysops shut it down and banned everyone from it.. and they know her as havin a room that at times 'borderline' violates the CoC they have.

I fail to see what changing her MAC address will do to resolve this situation, and more to the point, nearly all NICs are hardcoded with their MAC address at production...

nah wiggo...if they are tracking MAC...no use making a new account. Though its hard to digest that MSN is using MAC to block users. IP has always been a favorite for them!
I would suggest try a firewall with anti-MAC spoofing...sygate comes to my mind.
It will rule out that whether they are using MAC to block her cos it doesn't reveal MAC to anyone.
If she is still blocked...then its not MAC.

    And hey good one kane...

    I hope you're just joking:laugh:

It is incredible to me though that people want to be paying an ISP to protect and cuddle them and guide them through the internet so much. Gives them a sense of security perhaps:?:

i was kidding about the part of changing friends :)
but if anyone uses MSN or AOL really needs to look into getting a different ISP. I was serious there. If you use AOL or MSN you are not my friend.
