I also do think that IE is a good browser...
But I have something here which is real simple and short that would crash it...

Click here to crash IE and have a look at what crashed it

lol but surely someone would have to write that in thier html for it to crash - and what would be the point in that unless you have a real anti - microsoft website?

Can you uninstall IE then and how would you reinstall? If i install one of the others i wouldn't want to still have IE on my system.

Mozilla for me. easier to set up than IE and the best popup killer i've seen. Only some small problems with Java, but I never got that right with IE as well

that is the safest thing to do cos windows has dependencies on IE in lots of places but if you are desperate to do anything like removing it completely then you can try this Microsoft Knowledge Base Article .
if you are not on windows 2000 (SP2) or XP then this utility can help you but imo stay away from IE Uninstall and keep it intact.

Okay cheers - yeah i don't think i would want to remove it completly as it i would have though microsoft would make it component to some applications so you have to use it or if you do uninstall it it would screw up your computer just to spite you ;)

So then which one? Mozilla or Opera?!
