After i5 came out however, I decided to go in that direction. The problem is that these 1625mhz HyperX modules (7-7-7-20) are rated at 1.7-1.9V.

I would like to know if there would be problems involved in using this memory as part of an LGA 1156/Core i5 system. I assume I would have to lower the voltage to 1.65V? Should I expect then, to have to change the memory speed and/or timing? I had expected that these modules would be great performers on an AM3 board; Can I expect them to perform reasonably well on a P55?
In case it is useful information here are the other codes printed on the modules:

Thanks for your help.

It may depend on the motherboard model.

You may not be able to boot with them, but you can for sure use them after you can get in the BIOS and adjust things. You just need to keep the QPI/VttVtt and Vdimm within .5 of each other, so you would need to set/raise your QPI/Vtt voltage a bit then set the ram voltage to 1.7
