    Question PC-Z60 Watercooling Options

    Hi,

I looking to get a water cooler, as my Intel Core i5 2500K (sandy bridge) CPU on a Asus Maximus IV GENE-Z motherboard is overheating under load with the standard retail Intel fan. Can I fit a 140mm water cooler in place of the top fan of the PC-Z60 and if so can you suggest any models that will definitely fit, or am I limited to a 120mm cooler in place of the rear fan?

    Regards,
    Gavin

Hi. We checked and rechecked. We can't find a 140mm rad that will fit on the top with out interfering with the motherboard. You can try putting the fan on the outside, if you can get it power, but there is no way to tell if that will work or cool efficiently. Sorry, it is a small case.

Please let us know what you did with it. Post pictures.
    Thanks
