    The last redhat I used was 6.2.....I've got a set of 7.1 cd's...not that I'd ever think of replacing slack with redhat though....*snicker*

    I havent used slack how is the install?
    I can download it :) i have dsl and cable internet :)

    The install is text only...and you have to configure everything by hand......

    comming from a linux n00b - the slackware install is a bit of a shock after sitting throught at least 30 or so windows installs, but after all the booting up and stuff, it gets to a menu screen and you setup/install from there :)
