    Default pc3200 in a pc2100 machine

I was wondering if anyone has had any dealings with using faster memory in a slower machine. With the proliferation of sales on pc3200 memory, it is more cost effective to buy pc3200 and put it in the pc2100 machines if you cannot upgrade the machines. I am managing a fleet of machines for a local gov. and cannot upgrade the machines but every user wants the machines faster. Has anyone out ther found a problem with using the faster memory in the slower machines?

In general, using PC3200 memory in a pc 2100 machine should not cause any problems as the machine will only detect it as pc 2100. I use pc 3200 memory in my pc 2700 machine and it works great!
