    Default 1T 2T need to understand it

    hey guys i have always wanted to know about the 1T and 2T for ram i always hear about it but don't understand it well i have mine at 2T which is defult could you guys halp me out thanks!

    In a nutshell, it is the Command Rate (3rd from the bottom in your image above). 1T is a more aggressive setting and most newer memory modules will run at that setting, even the budget modules. If you run into stability issues after changing this setting, then you're one of the unlucky few and will need to reset it to the milder 2T setting.

    If you're looking for specific information about what it is and how it works in the scheme of your system, then I recommend heading over to Adrian's Rojak Pot and check out their BIOS Optimization Guide. Its the best I've found on the net and breaks down nearly all of the internal CMOS choices.

    memtest is designed to test the functionality of memory modules and does a fair job of stressing out that part of the system. You can either do that or just do what you normally do and make sure the system doesn't act up on you. Any new reboots or BSOD messages will likely mean your system can't handle the new setting. Otherwise, just enjoy a bit better performance.

    well i have been playing games running programs and not even a problem has poped up yet its been about 3 days
