    This are my system specs:
    Albatron PX845PEV PRO VER:800 socket 478
    Pentium 4 2.8GHz
    512MB DDR333
    Geforce FX5200 128MB
    HD Samsung SP080N2 75GB
Sound card Creative Sound Blaster Audigy SE
    DVD-Writer LG GSA-H20 L
    Windows XP Professional SP2

My motherboard only supports AGP. And if what you say is true I'll forget about buying the 7600GS but now I have another problem which X1650 should I buy The sapphire version or the HIS version.

I'm also looking for buying more memory like DDR 512MB.

dont buy the HIS. the cooler on closer inspection looks really crappy compared to most of their coolers, so i would buy the sapphire and fit an artic cooling silencer, if you really care that much. That is, if the sapphire is cheaper.

Question Re: Diferrence betweeen GDDR and DDR

    I have two more questions.
Yesterday I was looking at my motherboard box and I saw this "AGP slot (1.5V only)". does this prevent me from installing any of the cards that i've talked previousily?

    And the other question is:
I've a memory of 512MB DDR PC-2700 333MHz if I buy more 512MB of memory does it have to be the same PC-2700 333MHz or can it be something like PC-3200 400MHz?

Q1: the 1.5v port is for new graphics cards only. at your level, this doesnt matter. only if you were thinking about putting an aincent card in, like a voodoo 3, which is a 3.3v card, and it will blast your mobo to bits :)

Q2: you can go for any speed of ram, but remember that the speed that it runs at is determined by the slowest stick. so, if you get 400mhz ram, it will only run at 333mhz.

    hope that answered your Q's
