    Smile Ram Heatsinks

Do you think its worth investing in some ram heatsinks. I have a Dell XPS 420 with 4GB of RAM.

    Default Re: Ram Heatsinks

I'm not generally big into RAM sinks on any build, but especially not on an OEM box since overclocking is going to be difficult if not impossible to begin with. Current designs of motherboards don't give a lot of space to properly use sinks on the modules, and even the wrap-around ones won't make a lot of difference.

Just my two cents worth, but IMHO they are a waste of money.

    Question Re: Ram Heatsinks

I know that it isn't recommended by manufacturers to remove the heatsinks they put on their RAM modules, but does someone in here know a good and safe method for removing heatsinks of RAM modules ?
(I'm specifically interested in finding a good way to remove heatsinks from Corsair Dominator RAM modules)
