you need more dram voltage !!! don't be scared to use upto 1.65v with 16gb

then try 10-11-11-24-1t timings for 2133mhz

might need cpu/vtt at 1.10-1.15v also

you wont run 2400mhz,most you'll run is 2133mhz

    LOL
Of course I'm scared xD Those are to be running at 1.35v
In any case ...thank you for encourage me to break the 1.5v scare.

Well I hold my breath, took a leap of faith and I tried @2133Mhz 1.65v
    9-10-10-28
    10-11-11-24
    10-11-10-28
    10-10-10-28

    Nothing

    I have manage to get 2000Mhz 1.6 v
9-10-10-28 fine (like other people did in the link although at lower voltages)
    Samsung Green 30nm Memory Test-ddr3-jpg
Also set starting speed for graphic card slot manually at Gen 2 (in my case). Seems to help.
Look like it's holding settings at this voltage

    I got to go 2133, 2200 or even 2400
That would be a shame and an insult to those little marvels not to

Any other suggestion (bios version, voltage, timings, sec. timings...) will be appreciated !

it could be down to 16gb

with 8gb you would do 2133mhz easy

try loosening timings more so maybe 11-11-11-24-1t did you use more cpu/vtt? max safe is 1.2v so anywhere from stock 1.05v to 1.2v

Thanks but I really need 16GB.
Your advice for vtt worked for stabilizing the ram !
I read that on Gigabyte board vtt should be 0.005v above icm. I gave it a try.
    vtt: 1.05
    icm: 1.045

    Now able to do 2000Mhz @ 9-10-10-28 with 1.5v (instead of 1.6v)

With those same vtt and icm voltage, I tried 2133Mhz and 2200Mhz, 2400Mhz (1.6v)...still no go
I think I am having hard time find the right timings for those speeds with 16GB. Actually for 16gb, I haven't found anyone that did 2133Mhz... ever.

I will take a break for one week because my ears are still buzzing with the "KloK" noise that the board do while rebooting (so many times...soooooooo many times).

People with x79 or z77 from other manufacturers board (let say Asus) seems to do better (2200Mhz,2400Mhz 2600Mhz) than us on Gigabyte for those ... but I would not change for any other manufacturers.
I will try any other advice you have.
    Many thanks again Sir !
