Default DDR3 Voltage too high on auto-setting?

    Hello,

My DDR3 DRAM Voltage is at auto setting 1.585V. The Asrock program reports the same voltage for the ram. However the ram modules are specified to work at 1.5V.
Is this a problem or is it oke? I am quite worried to see this. it is a new pc.

what board is it x58 z68 ect?

have you tried manually setting it to 1.5v? if its not stable then anywhere between 1.5v to 1.6v is fine depending on what speed the ram is running at 1600mhz ect

In another motherboard the voltage was set at 1.5v(auto setting) and it worked.

suppose it depends on how well the motherboard supports that ram, auto doesnt always set the right voltages, you can manually tweak them if needed
