Default Looking for a memory app that does something specific on usage

I would like to find a memory app that has a function which will tell me what the highest amount of memory was in use and store that amount untill a higher amount is used for Win7

I have 8GB of memory yet the highest amount of memory use I have ever seen using the task manager is in the 3.8GB range. But as far as I know there is no record of peak usage ie it could have gone higher but I did not see it.

anyone know an app that does this?

This hardware monitoring program does exactly what you described (as long as it is running), along with displaying more information about your PC than you'll ever use:

    HWiNFO64 Download

You'll need to run the "Sensors" in order to see the memory usage, which looks like this:

That is only a portion of all the various sensors that are available.

    Thanks Pasec

Its about 95% what I want. To be perfect it would have to svae the value when the computger is powered off and I don't beleive HWIN64 does that
