  • Messy Ass PSU Cables!

    Hi Guys

I have been looking for ribbed flexible split tubing to resolve my very messy situation regarding cables inside my case.

I spent most of my Saturday going around to different places trying to find the stuff but have had no luck and no one has been able to point me in the right direction.

I have attached a picture that I found of the tubing material that I'm after and it will also show you guys of exactly what I'm after.

Seein' as ya in Sydney then look at www.dse.com.au or www.jaycar.com.au but some auto parts stores have it as well (Jaycar was always my pick). ;)

Cheers mate but I live here in Sydney and would prefer to find a local place that sells the Wire Loom from around here.

            Thanx Wig.

I went to Jay Car on Saturday and they didn't have what I was after.

I never got around to checking out BIG DICKS but a friend of mine advised me to checked out some electrical distributors.

            Thanks again mate.

Yes basically most electrical suppliers should carry the stuff but Jaycar in Parramatta and York St Sydney always had it.

              Good luck

CT, what is the proper name for that flexible ribbed tubing that you're using in your rig?

In my case I just use tie wraps, I find it works just as effective and still looks really neat.

I've ben looking at same stuff lately.

I went to repco who had 5mm and 10mm lengths and where cheap (considering i live country) and they could order other sizes in.

Also Supercheap had same stuff but was deaer because it came in about 5m lengths.

A lot cheaper tha computer shops.

i've always known it as "split-loom tubing"

used it for years in my competition car audio systems

i've prolly bought a 1/4mi of the stuff since 1993! lol
