  • Temperature monitoring programs???

What else there is to monitor your temps/fans/voltages than the ASUS PROBE and MOTHERBOARD MONITOR? The MBM is relatively good, but it shows 2 of my 3 fan speeds wrong!! The Asus probe shows everything right, but it can´t show the temps on the tray! :(

BTW, How many temp/fan sensors are there in the A7N8X (and where are they located)? The Asus probe shows two temp sensors and three fan sensors information? The MBM shows more(?) sensors, but I don´t know which are REAL and which aren´t! :?: :?:

Firstly who gives a **** about fan speeds? Now I am going to say that you can get the information on the MM site. But I am a nice guy and here are the temps:

    CPU: W83L785TS-S Diode
    System: Asus 1

    BTW: The A7N8X rocks!

I already knew that CPU and system sensor...I guess there aren´t any more temp sensors on this board.

BTW, isn´t this mobo fully compatible with the MBM (or speed adjustable fans)? I just installed the newest version of that and it won´t show any of my three fan speeds right! There is three fan speed sensors on my board and if I adjust my rear case fan (Enermax 80mm, 1000~3000rpm) to lower or higher, then all the three fan speeds showed by the MBM will go up or down. The Asus PC Probe showed them just fine! :( :( Also the HTML Help says this about the Fan type:

"There are 11 settings, /1 to /10 which divide the readings by that amount and *2 which muliplies the reading by 2. Default setting for 99% of all boards will be /1"

If I keep the default settings, the program shows that my fans are spinning about 5000-6000rpm. My fans can´t spin over 3000rpm!!! I don´t think that my fans are so special, that the MBM can´t read them right!! I also don´t think that adjusting one fan should affect to the readings of the other fans!!

Any ideas how I could get the right readings?  :?:

I managed to adjust everything on motherboard monitor to reflect the real readings, u just gotta play with the settings a bit.
I even set it to email me on my mobile phone before shutting down if something fails.
The only problem I had with it was it made 3dmark01 and 03 crash to desktop. So I make sure its off when testing.

You have to configure it right, set fan1 to read from the right sensor etc, you should also disable all sensors not used so that they don't show up without monitoring anything. This software is IMHO the best there is for system monitoring. It's way better than that probe. You just can't get any better..

Just go into the MBM console and reconfigure ya fan settings till ya get the right readings (some mobo's need fine tuning with MBM to get the readings right but it ain't hard).
