Are there any advantages to using XP Pro over XP Home if I'm not going to be connected to a network?

it really depends on what you want to do with it
pro and home are the same except pro has some additional features (in other words, home is a limited version of pro)
i prefer pro since i find many of these extra features VERY useful
like i said, it just depends on what you want to do
