Good 2600+ o/c?

A good o/c (i had to put in multi cuz it didnt show up :thumbs do if i get asus a7n8x i can get this baby up to 220 fsb (i did it when it was in my dad's comp..now he has 3200+)

have you tried lowering the muti. and raising the fsb? you may (or may not) find that you get better performance that way.

Due to your thread and specs I am now running my 2500+ as a 3200+ @200X11:thumb: :woot:
I was setting my AGP wrong. :o
It's even running at 17/38C! I have no idea what the room temp is...but the fans aren't even on high! And that's under load.
I need to spend a little tweaking time on this equipment. It's all good stuff but I haven't taken the time lately to play. Thanks for the inspiration! :cheers:

Why does that CPU-Z pic look incredibly fake...why didn't it detect your settings?

Also don't believe your board temps, they have a tendency to be wrong. Use them for comarison purposes only for say, when you install a new heatsink.

That pic is incrediably fake. ONe, If it was oc'ed, it wouldnt show as a 2600+ in there. Two, its just obvious you Photoshopped it, by the way the fonts are.

Well my original thought was it was all fudged and made up...

But he could have also filled them in manually if it didnt detect them right for some reason....but then again why go through the trouble to make a pic if its fake anyway? You would just post the #s in the thread... :shrug:

Jeez you guys have a sharp eye, i didn't notice that.
no offence to mini or rage, but that pic does look VERY photoshopped. eg here is mine unedited.
There are a few diferences that i can spot, namely, the positioning and size of text (voltage, multi, FSB, and bus speed) and also, there is text in the textboxes with labels greyes out.

Especially when I pulled #'s right behind him in benchmarks he didn't want to discuss the cost per system and the #'s.

Who in the f@#% disables everything possible to get the highest benchmarks possible? Do you disable all the crap everytime you play a game or whaatever?

Benchmarks are cool, but who really gives a ****. Your system works, its nice, and does what it needs to.

Personality, friendship, comroderie, and being humble go a long way................

I lost two things that mean more than any materialistic thing in the world to me...................my Mother burned to death in a fire, and my Uncle couldn't stand the emotional pain and burned himself to death.
So #'s, being the best, having the fastest computer in the whole scheme of life doesn't mean anything.
There is something to be said for people being humble, thankful everyday for what they do have, and sharing those experiences iwth others. Whether it be with people on the net , or 'real" friends, famil ect.

Being the BEST to me, means being the best person I can, helping others being the best they can be. The friends I chose to have are the ones that make me want to be a better person.
Cause in life, that is really all that matters when it boils down to it.

This isn't meant for just soulburner. This is just something I feel pertains to everyone. Just because you don't have the fastest, latest, and greatest system out there doesn't meana thing.
Once something no longer becomes fun, what is the point.
Do the best with what you have, and be happy and proud of whwat you do have and what you have done.
Computers are supposed to be fun. This forum is supposed to be fun. Not a competition. It is here to exchange knowledge. To share you your kknowledge tips and tricks so everyone can have even more fun with thier computers.
There is one thing that seperates someone from having the best computer out there................MONEY. Instead of that, this forum is here to show people that don't have all that MONEY, how to get the best out of thier computer and have FUN.

SOMEWHERE ALONG THE LINE IT SEEMS LIKE PEOPLE NOW DON'T WANT TO SHARE THAT KNOWLEDGE FOR FEAR WON'T BE "TOP DOG". Guess what, the top dog in my book is the guy who spends his time and knowledge helping others get the best out of their computing experience and not bragging about how they have the best computer and how thier computer could whoop so n so's computer. Who the **** cares. Are you going to have a computer war. NOOOOOOOOOOO. So share knowledge. Be happy for those people who just got some money and are all excited to finally be able to get that Geforce 2 MX400. Then help them learn how to overclock it to get the best performance they can.
To ME THAT IS WHAT COMPUTING IS ALL ABOUT.............HAVING FUN AND SHARING THAT EXCITEMENT AND KNOWLEDGE SO OTHERS CAN ENJOY THEIR COMPUTING EXPERIENCE AS MUCH AS YOU ARE............
