  • Problems with Norton Internet Security

ok i seem to be missing something! and need help!
i downloaded "norton internet security pro 2004" i installed it and it doesnt ask me for any serial numbers.ive uninstalled it and reinstalled it time and time again. keep getting the trial or one year thing.i also get a message saying "failed to initiate driver"when it starts up. the way i uninstalled it is buy clicking the install button again and the the uninstall button appears ect.ect
it doesnt show any norton internet security in add & remove programs.but it is still in program files,c:temp ect.im running xp pro w/sp-1.
do i have to edit anything in my registry? if so what do i have to edit to remove (just internet security) i dont want to mess with my "system works pro" or my "norton antivirus 2004"
your help would be much appreciated! thank you.

Don't use NAS anyway. It's stupid. Use AVG for antivirus and Zone Alarm for a firewall. After that, you're set. They're both free, and every bit as good as Norton.
Download free antivirus and malware protection. Tune up your PC, Mac, & Android. Encrypt your connection and browse anonymously with a VPN.

Secure your PC and mobile with the most protective, real-time security software and mobile apps.

I dont think he pirated it, but downloaded either the trial version or bought it online.

But it could be worse, you could had bought Mcafee Internet Security Suite 6.0 and had more problems and no tech support.

I'm with Yaw though, AVG and Zone alarm. I'm trying them on my laptop and they seem to work very good. As soon as my year with MIS6.0 is up and cant download anymore updates for teh AV, its GONE and I will try my best to get booted from Mcafee forums.
