Yes they are compatible, but I have a suggestion if you're a US buyer. Check out www.newegg.com as a quick price comparison showed your motherboard selling for $48 vs $75 (no rebate to send in either) and a WD 74GB Raptor drive comparison showing $250 from your vendor and $166 from newegg. Just my two cents worth.

I was afraid of that. Try looking around for better deals. Tiger Direct in particular is almost worse than buying at full retail. They tend to be mighty proud of their products and charge accordingly.

Memory- SODIMM modules will not fit into your motherboard. This is a 200-pin module that is designed for notebooks and laptop machines. You need 184-pin DDR SDRAM modules. Since you seem to be on a tight budget, I'm probably go with a single 512MB module. Since you're using a S754 processor, dual channel is moot as it doesn't exist. Either Corsair Value Select or Crucial will fit the bill easily.

HSF- If you bought the retail processor, it will have a heatsink that comes with it. If you've gone with an OEM product, you can pick up something from Thermaltake that fits your budget. They make a workable cooling setup that is generally reasonably priced. Just make sure it is designed to fit your S754 motherboard.
