      Re: 3DMark06 scores

3DMark06 is definately geared to dual cores, your cpu score eats mine, cpu test #1 was a slide show for me, 0fps, there was a glimmer of hope in test #2 I saw it flash to 1fps for a second

        Re: 3DMark06 scores

The CPU tests are limited to a max of 2FPS. Read the specs on Futuremark's site and it will all be explained. With my rig in my sig, I scored 4622, so people with low scores should not be discouraged.

Can you give it a run at 1280x1024 ..... the default 06 setting ....... with 1152x864 you'll get an altered result.

it defaults to your monitor type. I have a widescreen and that is the default for it picks for me. I cant change it

OK I didn't realise that, it defaulted to 1280x1024 on my 17" CRT.

                  I like it,
I wanted max cooling with the least amount of noise.
and the zalman fit the bill.
oh..... but it really collects DUST !! :)

See the first post. You should all run it at 1024x768 for the best comparison. If not, at least state the resolution at which you run it.

I have the same default problem as Kruz, it defaults to 1280x1024 on my monitor with no option in 3DMark06 Basic to alter it. mmmm I just had a thought, I run my monitor at 1280x1024 normally, I wonder if changing that resolution will alter it in 3DMark? I will try that when I get home after work today and report back.

EDIT: @ trigger ..... does your card support SM2.0 and SM3.0?

EDIT 2: Changing the res didn't work, 3DMark06 still defaults to 1280x1024, might bite the bullet and buy the advanced version

Okay, I haven't run 3DMark 06, but all of the others just ran it at the same resolution as your desktop. Maybe I'll try it out later...
