  • Diskbench error

I have no idea what this means. I have 2gb of memory with 1500-2000mb of virtual memory. Does it have something to do with .net? I even reinstalled .net 2.0 just to make sure, didn't help.

Can't help you... I've always used HDTach for benchmarking and haven't used DiskBench before. Sorry. Just for information; HDTach does not require any of the .NET servcies to function.

Yea I use HDtach too. Just want to get this program to work, it only happens when I use the batch option.

Just a suggestion, but your virtual memory is really too high. There is no "ideal" number for the page file, despite recommended 1.5 x RAM formula's. I use a utility that monitor's session peak page file size and I custom size my page file from that reading. Also, you should make a habit of sizing your page file the same size in the min and max size fields. Download the utility here:

FYI: I have 2GB of RAM and my page file is 512MB. I have never seen usage go beyond 400MB, even while video editing or using Photoshop.

Thanks I'll try the advice. But whats going on with diskbench? Haha. Is there like a .net setting or something I can change? Is .net not even a factor?
