  • 6600gt in SLI problem

I reformatted my computer with both video cards installed but when i go to the Nvidia control panel there nothing about SLI. However when i have only one card in there is the SLI tab and it tells me i can add another card. When i put the second card back in the option disappeared again. I have another SLI computer and the SLI tab is always there. I am using a Gigabyte K8N-SLI board. I know all the parts work because SLI was working before i reformatted. I am also using the newest forceware 93.71. Any help would be appreciated. I will run a benchmark to see if it is using the second card or not.

    Re: 6600gt in SLI problem

I wonder if the latest drivers properly support the 6600. I would try the 81.xx drivers or maybe the 84.xx drivers and see if it works properly again. I would be willing to bet the older drivers will work right.
