What is the best bang for the buck for under $200 for these 3 categories----CPU, mainboard, and a single video card. I'm talking $200 or under for each piece.

Re: Best under $200(US) hardware
Right now, I prefer Intel, but there is nothing wrong with AMD.
E6750 - My E6600 can hit 3.6, so I'm sure this could hit 3.8+. You might want to consider an E6300 if you are overclocking.
Gigabyte has released some very nice boards lately - especially the Ultra Durable series. The P35 would be the board to get.
Being an Nvidia fan, I would have to say something from the 8 series would be nice. With the money you save from buying that motherboard, you might be able to squeeze in an 8800GTS 320mb. If not, the 8600GTS is not a bad choice.

Re: Best under $200(US) hardware
For graphics card I would say hit ebay for a 7900gtx.. with the 8800gt, gtx and new gts coming in, ppl for some reason don't care about the last generation's high-end..
You could probably find a 7900gtx which is at least as good as the x1950pro for about 150.Case: Antec P180 ** PSU: Ultra-V 600W
Main: EVGA 680i 122-CK-NF68** CPU: E6700 2.66GHz
CPU cooling: Arctic Freezer 7 Pro ** RAM: 2GB Corsair XMS2
GPU: BFG GTX 295..** Samsung 206bw LCD
OS: Vista Ultimate 32bit
